Treadmill Desks

Selecting the Right Treadmill Desk

There are several combinations of desks and treadmills to choose from when making the decision to buy a treadmill desk.

Do you already have a standing desk and just need an under-desk treadmill?

Do you want a treadmill desk suitable for one person or several people to share?

The following will help guide you to pick or build the right treadmill workstation for you:

Desk Selection : Electric, Manual or No Desk (just under-desk treadmill)?

Electric Height Adjustment Desk (DT7) .. See Options

Electric desks makes it easy to adjust the height of the desk by simply pressing a button on your desk. This will be very useful when several users are sharing the same treadmill desk. Users heights can range from around 140cm to 200 cm. Below you can see the treadmill desks with electric height adjustment:

Manual Height Adjustment Desk (DT5)

Manual desks are also height adjustable but adjusting the height requires the help of a second person. This might not be convenient when several users are sharing the same treadmill desk and the desk height needs to be changed often. Users heights can range from around 140cm to 200 cm. Below you can see the treadmill desks with manual height adjustment:

No Desk (DT3) , Just the Treadmill base with a console

Companies in the Middle East are becoming more aware of the negative consequences associated with prolonged sitting. We are seeing companies in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and Qatar adding standing desks in their offices to help their employees avoid sitting for long. The problem arises when employees start finding it uncomfortable to stand for long. Walking is more natural to our body’s than standing. For such companies we provide treadmill bases to go underneath their existing standing desk thus allowing to switch between sitting and walking instead of sitting and standing. Below you can see the available treadmill bases:

Treadmill Base Selection

How many hours a day will the Treadmill desk be used for?

    • Less than 6 hours a day: in this case, we recommend the TR1200 treadmill base with any of the desks
    • Usage of up to 10 hours a day: in this case, we recommend the TR5000 treadmill base with any of the desks

Choosing the Treadmill Desk Based on The Number of Users

  • One User per treadmill desk: in this case, we recommend the TR1200-DT5
  • Several Users sharing one treadmill workstation: in this case, we recommend the TR5000-DT7 . The TR5000 treadmill will allow for heavy usage for long hours while the DT7 electric desk will make it easy for the different users to adjust the height of the desk.
